Website won't load if a data file fails to load #168

STEPS

  1. Move/hide the crafting-guide-data repo so that it isn't adjacent to the crafting-guide repo.
  2. Perform a clean build of the website code and start the server
  3. Go to localhost:8000

    EXPECTED

After a short while, the loading animation is replaced by the home page.

ACTUAL

The loading animation is never removed, and error messages appear in the console (both for browser and server) about missing files.
