format: {date} + {relative period} #644

This may be a bit exotic, I would be happy if this were available with addFormat() only. I'd like to be able to type January 12th + 6 months to do a date calculation. It could be rephrased as 6 months after January 12th if #643 is fixed, but I don't see a way to allow date calculation via addFormat.
