Our original design wanted a constant ghost (ooohhhh) sound to keep the player updated as to where the monster is and then have roars when it got close, but now we have a constant orange light and intermediate roars to let the player know where the player is and a shift in the light to red when it gets close, so we've determined that the ghost sounds are unnecessary.
