I'm using Arduino UNO R3 and WS2412B LED's

Not sure what's happening. I'm using an Uno R3 as well. Did you resolve this?

I decided to use the Fast Led DemoReel example in the Arduino IDE. It worked out well for me. I added a few lines of code to use the PIR. I now have (2) LED strips on the rear of the Arcade which uses the modified DemoReel example, (1) strip in the Marquee (steady on), (16) LED illuminated Pushbuttons and (1) small strip under the Control Panel.
