Filtering Results by ABV

How would this be done, using intervals or a sliding scale?

E.g. ABV (Select all applicable):

• 0.0 - 2.49 (non alcoholic?)
• 2.5 - 3.99 (radlers, UK session ales?)
• 4.0 - 4.49 (light beer? however some full-bodied beers like Guinness and Pilsner Urquell would be the bycatch of this interval)
• 4.5 - 4.99 (regular beer at non-standard ABVs, like Corona, Busch, High Life/MGD, Radeberger, Jever, Pabst)
• 5.0 - 5.49 (standard beer)
• 5.5 - 5.99 (ice/dry beers)
• 6.0 - infinity (here be dragons)

or

Range (similar to Craigslist, filtering results by price) [0%]------[min: 3%]-------[max: 7%]------------------[12%]

An ABV filter would be a nice addition. Maybe a design like this (from Zillow):

I don't think I'll be implementing this in the near future but I'll leave this issue open.
