It would be good to get this setup and one demo in place, possibly sixNations.onside.me using the AWS solution we discussed.

Along with usarchery.onside.me. Also, it would be good to understand the timeline required to set up the domains for all Official Channels.

ideally this should be an automated process we can activate new subdomains via the cms. This should not be a feature for all channels, but for premium only. We may also need to look at the experience. If you come to usarchery.onside.me, then navigate to another channel you will still be on the subdomain, slightly odd UX?

Something we need to discuss. Ideally, the Channel owner will send people to their domain. We can assume, at least at the beginning, that most visitors to said subdomain will not be Onside users. So i guess the first battle is to get them to sign up, perhaps if they then opt to sign up it will take them to Onside Home where they can register and for example, usarchery would already be in their saved Channels list.

Organisations like US Archery are happy to promote Onside via their social feeds with their own domain. It's then our job to get them to join Onside.

We could think of a promo, provided by Onside, to encourage US Archery to ask their members to join Onside...

our current model requires reg before use, mostly due to private beta. once open we need to consider how we push people to register
