initially I am looking at faking this on node to demonstrate the idea. We will need a full requirements spec prior to implementing properly.

We will have to set the guidelines here ourselves. Decide upon 1,2 or 3 different options for our Channel owners to offer their sponsors and hopefully 1 will suit. Later we can evaluate how flexible we need to be on this matter.

1) Co-branded Channel header: RFU England w/o2 branding. Note, this should work the same for Channel's on a users sidebar.

2) Content box advert: Do we already have frameworks in place here?

3) Banner, full width of Channel.

1. co brand, you mean like "England Rugby - sponsored by nike" type thing?
2. nothing in place. we are going to fake it initially until we have some sort of spec of what is needed, eg they may want to use doubleClick so we would need to integrate this
3. no banner stuff yet, but we can look at faking this for the time being as well

For the fake things, I would rather not do this on the demo channel we are setting up, but create a generic channel that we can use for all demos that show features "they could have"

1) Yes and with their brand if requested.

I think that makes sense, we can use a generic Channel for pitching advertising opportunities and perhaps create a couple different ones so they can better "see" their options.
