At the moment we fit the variation of the EOS parameters in T with a 6th order polynomial. It may be worth having a more physically meaningful parameterisation. If we do this in a flexible way we could make this work in a way that allows us to take derivatives at arbitrary points to extract the thermal expansivity (for example).
