This program hooks a module installed by the Synaptics touchpad driver which is
NOT
installed by Windows, however it is often installed by the OEM which may
explain why
it worked in the past on a previous installation. Please visit the manufacturers
website to obtain the Synaptics touchpad driver for your machine or the
Synaptics
website for the generic drivers.

Hope this helps.
