Allow trimming of recorded tracks #209

oftentimes i forget to stop recording a track when it's finished, and only remember later (e.g. when still at transport off the hike; or even when back at thome).

also my old FairPhone 2 often takes a while to sync to GPS (as i usually have it switched off to save battery), so i prefer to start track recording early (while still approaching the hike destination), to be sure to record the beginning.

this however, means that the track recording contains unwanted data.

it would be really nice, if the "Edit Track" functionality (which currently only allows me to rename the track, iiuc) would offer me a way to trim the track at the beginning and the end.

It's what I would like to have too, but I can't come up with good but simple interface for that. I've thought about some kind of slider, but it wouldn't work well for long tracks.

probably one could enter a date/time (via the appropriate dialog) for the cut point.

but now that i've opened trekarta and checked how navigation in track actually works, i see that i can zoom, and drag and set markers in the elevation/speed profile, which would just be the perfect opportunity to set a trim point.
