TZ stops working intermittently and a black line appears

I have the same problem mentiones on a closed issue. Win 7 Home SP1 and Firefox 4. It stops working (on all sites) and a black line across the screen appears when I hover over an image. If I restart Firefox it starts working again.

Hey there :) Same Issue here, but it's not a "black line", its the same picture compressed in just a thin line, only height, not wide. WIndows 7 Enterprise 64 bit with SP1, Most recent Nvidia drivers, Firefox 4.0 (not relevant, the problem was present in ver. 3.6 too).

Publish a twitter accout... most people won't sign up in this website so they can tell you the issues they have with your extension... by the way, I love Thumbnail Zoom, when it works...

This issue has been reported only in Windows 7, I'll check if it's the case.

I have the same issue and I have a Vista SP2. Only a black line appears, differs in length and no image. And it happens often, unfortunately.

Happens also on XP SP3. FF 4.0.1. Unfortunately only restarting the browser fix the problem

Same problem. I often have long sessions when I don´t shut down my computer down for weeks but rather have it get into "hibernation" (is that what it´s called in english); Firefox will then also run without restart for a very long time, and the mentioned issue will almost for sure appear at some point and can only be fixed by restarting Firefox. Firefox 5 (latest at the time of writing), Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1. Love this addon and´d love it even more if you could fix this. PS: My addon-list can be viewed at about:Addons ;-) Seriously, I don´t think there are any conflicts, and I´m too lazy to copy them here (you can´t just mark the names)

MisterSkywalker said it´s the picture compressed into one thin line, height correct, but width=1. I can NOT confirm this. My line is definitely black. The height seems to be correct, but I think it is just the black rectangle that normally is around the preview compressed into one line.

There´s also no loading time, the line appears immediately (except for the "Delay before displaying the image" in the options)

I think I found out when it stops to work. I was hovering over image and the loading icon was showing. But then I clicked on the thumbnail before the image was loaded and went to a new page and since then the line only appears. I have tried it again and the same thing happened.

I found VioletDeltas description pretty confusing and first did not understand what he/she meant, but now I have discovered how to reproduce it myself and found that he/she means exactly the same. I first thought with "clicking on the thumbnail" was meant clicking on the Thumbnail Zoom-thumbnail, but the error occurs if you don´t stay on the page where the original thumbnail is while Thumbnail Zoom is still loading - I encountered it with reloading the page, but if clicking the original thumbnail redirects you to another page, like on Facebook, Wikipedia etc., the problem also occurs. (Excuse my possibly bad english, I´m no native speaker.)

You can reload or leave the page when the thumbnail is loaded and will get no problems. It only occurs if you go to another page while the thumbnail is still loading.

Disregard the "There's no loading time" stuff I wrote earlier. There IS a loading time, but the rectangle around the circulating "loading" logo is already compressed into one thin line. You can however definitely see how the line suddenly grows higher after a time I estimate to be a proper loading time for the image. If you hover the same image again, the line will appear right away in full length because the thumbnail is already loaded even if you don't see it.
