For some users, Load and Unload commands get stuck on Please wait screen

Yes, I have checked and this is a new bug not previously reported.

After load and purge, screen it’s locked in this screen, in progress… Please wait…

Did a bit of testing, and if I power on the printer and load/unload filament directly without preheating first, everything works as expected.

Expected behavior

The printer should show the Load/Unload screen

Actual behavior

Stuck on Please wait screen

Steps to Reproduce

1. Preheat (220 in my case)
2. Begin Load Filament steps
3. Printer waits for temp to drop to 200, then filament loading process begins.
4. Purge, then the same lock on “Please wait…” as in the above post.

Will be fixed in next version 5.5.1 that I will publish in January. In the meantime, there is a dev build with the fix available:
