Update to Android 33, latest libraries, and replace deprecated code. #316

Update storage-samples to run on Android 33, use Gradle 8.0.1, JDK 18.

Update all dependencies to latest version.
Use ActitivyResultContract in place of deprecated startActivityResult.
Use ViewModelProvider in place of deprecated ViewModelProviders.of
Use View Binding in place of setContentView.
