• Schedule: Full-time (~40-45h/week, min. 40h)
• Work hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30-9 AM to 5-5:30 PM EST
• Compensation: US$25.00/h (payments made via Payoneer; you'll need a Payoneer account to collect payments)
• Type: Contract (NDA required)

About the Job

• We're looking for a developer for our Android/Android TV/Fire OS Development Team
• You'll be responsible for improvements, new features, and bug fixes on the SelectTV Android, Android TV, and Fire OS apps
• The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can multitask, is self-motivated, and works well in a team environment
• This person must have a passion for what they do, can organize responsibilities to identify and handle potential gaps and blockers to ensure that the tasks they and the team own can be completed on schedule

Requisitos / Requirements

Obrigatórios / Mandatory

• Java & Kotlin Android Development, 3+ year(s)
  • Preferred: Experience with Android TV and/or Fire OS, 1+ year(s)
  • Preferred: Senior Android Developer, 1+ year(s)
  • Preferred: Kotlin knowledge and MVVM pattern with LiveData and Coroutines, 1+ year(s)
• Knowledgeable in object-oriented design
• Knowledgeable in working with REST and RPC APIs

Desejáveis

• Familiar with Retrofit and OkHttp
• Familiar with the Git VCS
• Familiar with the Kanban agile framework
• Familiar with Firebase Crashlytics
• Familiar with Material Design
• Familiar with ConstraintLayout

• Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Experience working in a small-mid size team environment
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints
• Ability to quickly identify gaps, risks, and blockers
• Attention to detail
• At least intermediate verbal English (you'll be required to participate in weekly calls with the Development department)
• Advanced or fluent written English (you'll mostly communicate with your teammates via Slack)
