0.36.7 to 0.37.2 -Proxy still cannot be used，Now you can only use the 36.6beta version, because the new version of Proxy cannot link the mining pool normally，I have raised this question in September，I use a soft router the Socks

Nothing special changed since that version, except support of user and password for socks5. So lets try again. What exact command you run? I need full string without hiding anything(even if you think it doesn't matter, except wallet address, this one you can hide if you want).

What software do you use for proxy in your network? Can you configure it to use request credentials for connection(login and password for authentication)? If so, configure it and put in miner --proxy socks5://login:password@192.168.8.1:1070

I have tried proxy service and it works just fine for me with and without authentication, so I guess your proxy sends some non-standard data and miner fails to connect now.
