Unfortunately "Big China Firewall" bans most of the pools I do use for dev-fee, so you need to use socks5 proxy that allows connection.

hm, interesting, probably I need to increase timeout for connection or getting respond from dev-fee pools. Will try to adjust that in next release.

can you try version 0.39.6? I have added asia pools to dev-fee list, hope it can help here

Can you connect to the dev pool using a domain name? So I can help forward the connection through VPS

Has this problem not been solved yet? I used version 0.39.8 but it still doesn't work, and it still prompts me that I can't connect to the developer mining pool
