A wish #255

Hello,

on top of the ScriptSafe icon in Chrome I can see the number of blocked objects. This is a good info for unconfirmed objects. But for confirmed objects, whether manually or automatically, this info is rather a pain. Every time I see this red number, I click on the symbol to take a look on blocked objects, although all is OK. At every page I see a red number, because google analytics or tag services are everywhere.

My wish: A checkbox or something like that in the settings to deaktivate the red number on the symbol for confirmed blocked objects. Or better: Count only unconfirmed (blocked) objects. Is this possible?

Many thanks in advance

What exactly is the problem in this case? What is a confirmed object? If there are blocked objects I sure would expect a number of blocked items. If the page works fine with this blocked objects I'm ignoring the count on the icon. If not, it is a good indicator that I need to enable something.

Sorry for bad english. I will try to explain my request: With "confirmed object" I mean a domain that I've marked as trusted or untrusted. Today many web pages includes an url, link, script or whatever from e.g. gstatic.com. I've blocked this object! Why is this that counted? Or respectively it would be nice, if I could adjust this behaviour.

It is counted because if something is not working on the site you can assume that it is because of the blocked item or not, which is indicated by the count on the ScriptSafe icon. So ScriptSafe is just counting all blocked items despite they are already in your list or not. This may totally differ to @andryou opinion since I'm just a user too :)

But maybe you can explain why the count is bothering you in any case if the site works well? Would be very interesting to know.

The red number is a marker for me that I should take a look, which objects are blocked. But for many pages that I visit, this information is completely uninteresting for me, because I have made the decision some time ago. I cannot remember every object, that I have blocked in the past on every web page and I don't want to check it again and again. It would be a relief. No more and no less.

Maybe it would be possible to display a /yellow/ number if all blocked items are webbugs, unwanted or denied rather than automatically-blocked-and-possibly-needed.
