no change. Just to clarify: The issue only happened on newly created recurring events. Any one-time-event I created shows up immediately.
Hi @LJMP Today I investigated this problem, and I see that it is easily reproduced. Unfortunately, this looks like a new Google Calendar bug, related to its syncing (via network) with Android Calendar provider: New recurring events, created in the Google Calendar (no matter via what Android app or via Web) aren't shown in the Android Calendar Provider service.
We need to raise bug report to Google Calendar support team. Please do this, if you can.
More details:
I created three new recurring events:
And I got the same result:
Recurring events aren't visible via Android Calendar Provider service ( https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/providers/calendar-provider ). 1.1. I don't see them via our ToDo Agenda widget (plus I debugged the provider also...) 1.2. I don't see them in the Etar Calendar app. Meaning that I don't see there even an event that I created in that app (but I see that event via Google Calendar app and via Web). 1.3. On Android 9 emulator I cleaned local storage of Calendar provider and Google Calendar app as described here: https://support.google.com/calendar/thread/678960?hl=en&msgid=13691159
Non-recurring event that I created, is visible everywhere, in all above mentioned places.
All three recurring events are visible via Web and via Google Calendar app on my other 2 devices (connected to the same Google account).
I still see all occurrences, including future ones, of recurring events that I created about a year ago.
These events on the Web (three recurring and one not):
As I wrote in point 1.3 above on Android 9 emulator after cleaning local calendar storages and resyncing I see non-recurring event only (and I don't see recurring events) even in the Google Calendar app:
To all encountering the same problem:
Please write a bug report to Google Calendar team. I did this also, but I think that we need more voices to make this fixed.
