Turns out they are behaving strangely in the pal build (in terms of length and height traveled).

Is it just me or does the player jump too high in general on PAL?

The jump height seems fine, but the length needs work. The lower horizontal fan seems to be a tile (~16px) too long in the PAL build when holding down the jump button.

The upper fan is also too long, but by a lesser margin (8px or less).
