Is there a github repository of your vlc add-on ? I would like to submit some modifications that allow vlc web extension to stream video and music from any url that points to music or video file (and not only from ult that points to youtube).
I'm putting in attachment the modified file of your extension (common.js). Modifications start line 104 and ends line 114.
