Apply metadata to all layers (feature request) #52

When working with many layers, and modifying their scaling etc, it would be great if one could apply a given configuration to all layers. There is a very basic implementation of this feature here

In ImageJ, it is implemented using a global checkbox: https://imagej.nih.gov/ij/docs/guide/146-28.html#toc-Subsection-28.4

One can debate if this is a great idea or not, however, it makes life in some use-cases much easier and is a very popular feature among end-users.
