SBS Catchup Plays Audio with No Video #1

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start SBS Add-On
2. Pick a show to watch
3. Audio will play but not video, eventually whole program freezes

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The show to play

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
XBMC Dharma Beta1 with only commit of SBS addon

Please provide any additional information below.

Used to work fine however something must have changed somewhere. Have tried
both letters and numbers and rockwiz and both do the same thing.

If there is anything else that can help if you can't replicate please let me
know.

Cheers for the addons, looking forward to the channel 7 and channel 9 ones,
plus you getting them onto the repository along with andy for the abc one so
more people can enjoy them.

I believe this is an upstream video rendering issue, ticket #10219 created
upstream.

I have attempted to play both episodes of latest rockwiz but video disappears
about 10 minutes into the show- just a black screen with a couple of raster
lines of the actual picture at the top of the screen. Have tried several times
on windows 7 laptop & Boxee, same happens every time- any ideas?
Regards, Greg Fox.

Greg, which version of the addon and XBMC are you using? I was under the
impression that the plugins no longer worked at all. If the video starts
playing and then stops, most likely it's either a network problem with RTMP or
something, or the video stream is corrupt in some way. In either case, there's
not much I can do to fix it, as it's probably an issue with XBMC. Can you post
a log from XBMC up to pastebin - in case there's any extra information there?
Thanks.
