None of the addons install #2

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Added the repo
2. Browsed the addons, choose any of them, none of them appear to download or 
install - ie no response at all, and nothing in the addons folders, after 
Install
3. Have tried this on Dharma Beta 2 on Ubuntu 10.04 and on Apple TV with the 
same result

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the addon to download with the normal notification popup and appear 
in the Addons folders, but it doesn't. Coincidentally, I had already manually 
installed the iView addon previously (only on Ubuntu) and this works, and 
appears as "Enabled" in the repo, but none of the others seem to work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Beta 2 on Ubuntu, and Beta 2 nightly build on ATV

Please provide any additional information below.

Have read through the XBMC log file, but it doesn't seem to mention much at the 
point I am trying to install the addons.

This is a known issue with XBMC not supporting chunked transfer-encoding. 
Bug has been created upstream as Ticket #10257 ( 
http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/10257 ).

For the time being, please manually download plugins from 
https://repo.xbmc-catchuptv-au.googlecode.com/hg/ or the downloads page.

Hi adman - thanks for the feedback, I now have the (news 24) addon installed.
However it isn't working. It just tries to start the stream but then returns 
without error.
I have read the xbmc log and it is successfully connecting to the stream server 
but comes back with netstream.play.streamnotfound. and getsockerror 11 resource 
temporarily not available.

I thought perhaps the rtmp URL needed /live/ in it (saw that somewhere) but no. 
And tried the lo and media versions too. No luck.

I'm assuming either the URL is wrong, or its something to do with the 
authentication bit but am now stuck. Any suggestions?

I'm a bit busy with exams and updating the Ten client, but the iView player 
connects to rtmp://cp81899.live.edgefcs.net/live/news24-hi@28773 . I'm not sure 
which is the app and which is the playpath but that's the URL. I don't remember 
what the addon uses, but if your getting streamnotfound, it's more likely to be 
the url is wrong rather than with authentication.

For further comments or help, create a new bug report for News 24 addon, try to 
keep this on topic of addon install problems.

Ticket (http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/10257) marked as fixed and change has made 
it to dharma, so the repository should now work on beta 4. Thanks to elupus and 
jmarshall for their work.

Please test if the repository works as expected, so we can close this bug.
