Yes, i missed it.
I've copied the regexp from the account id instead of the registration uri one
to
check this field.
Will be fixed in next release. if you quickly need a build that performs the
good
check (allowing port), let me know : I can provide it to you now.

A bundlized dev version is attached. It should allow you to fill the proxy
field with
sip:whateveryouwant:pppp in the expert wizard

Hi Regis,
Tested the attached, CSipSimple.apk. Entering the "Proxy" with
"sip:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:pppp" saved ok.
However, the program keep "force close" till a state that it is not usable -
only
"force close" and black screen. (HTC Dream - Android ver 1.6).

This is the first app that i've found for Android that has worked with my PBX.
I'm the senior voice engineer and use a carrier/enterprise grade Nortel A2E
system. I couldn't get it to work until I downloaded this dev app and input
the proxy setttings. Thanks. I'm willing to try new stuff/features if your
rolling anything out.

Ver 0.00-12 just get it installed to my Android 2.1.1 - Samsung Galaxy S. It
cannot allow input IP:Port like "sip:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:pppp" into the URI for
Proxy and Registra.
let me know do you want me create for you a sip account for test? May be that
will help better.

Can you precise me exactly when does it fails?
* When you enter the value sip:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:pppp in the field
* Before you click on the save button (the button is disabled)
* Just after you click on the save button
* Or when client tries to register
If it is the second step can you precise me what are the field in orange.
If it's at the last step, can you give me the error status message written on
the account list?
I already use registrar field with sip:IP:PORT format on one of my sip servers
and it worked. Maybe the problem is only with the proxy field?

for that ver 0.00-12 used. the failed is at "* When you enter the value
sip:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:pppp in the field" "* Before you click on the save button
(the button is disabled)".

What are the fields with an orange title in this case? Is it the
registrar/proxy field? Both? Only one?

Tested on r170 and both Registration URI and Proxy will accept sip:n.n.n.n:port
format as well as sip:do.ma.in:port. I used port 5060 though, since I don't
have a way to change my server's SIP port without breaking our whole phone
system!
I have added [:port] to the suggested format strings to indicate that ports are
OK.

Salut R3gis ... installed the custom version of CSIPSIMPLE w/ magicjack tab in
it; entered all the correct information except i am not sure what to type
exactly in the server area?? my MJ line is based in Miami (305-xxx-xxxx)so the
server for that would be proxy01.miami.talk4free.com but that never works; when
I input the proxy of the city I live in (41.130.48.246) I see "registering" for
about 30 seconds then i get error while registering. My username and passwords
are correct provided there are no spaces b/w the E and the telephone number and
the 01 after also; also since I am using my MJ from outside the US, do I need
to place a +11 infront of my local based US number in the username section?
Maybe MJ blocked sip access on mobiles so if this is the case pls let me know
as I've been working on this for the past 3 days and I am starting to see fumes
coming out of my brain!
merci d'avance,
alain

Hi Alain,
AFAIK, MagicJack blocked couple of month ago the hack that was present in
csipsimple (and other tools to use sip on magic jack).
In fact they use a non standard and private way to authenticate users.
Previously this way was hacked by guys on magicjack forum that told me how to
implement the private authentication used by magicjack server.
Unfortunately, meanwhile, MagicJack changed this algorithm. And it made useless
my modification in csipsimple. That's why it's not anymore included in latest
version.
As far as I understood, MagicJack business model does not goes well with the
fact a sip server could be accessed by clients application different than their
application. So they try to do some proprietary stuff on the top of sip which
make their service not really a sip server. And so it makes impossible to sip
application to connect their sip service.
If there is a new possible hack to connect this proprietary way I'll include
this in csipsimple again and re-add a wizard for magicjack.
