16-channel soundflower: ch 3 - 16 are silent #39

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

I was trying to use the 16 channel version of Soundflower 1.5.1, but
I can only stream over the first two channels - the rest (3 to 16) seems to
be silent.

I experienced the same problem, but I seem to have found a workaround. If I
create an
aggregate device with Soundflower as the first driver (so channels 1-16 are
soundflower channels), Soundflower now sends all 16 channels across.

I'm using Logic 9.02 and Max/MSP 5 on a Macbook Pro OSX10.6.1

I have reproduced going from Live to Max in OS 10.6.2 with the latest dev build.

Now that I've learned how to use Max/MSP (haha) the problem is gone. I opened
the
DSP status window, and in the IO Mappings window all but inputs 1 and 2 were
disabled.

I'm closing this bug for now. If some one can give me a different set of steps
to
reproduce then we can open it back up.
