Colours for rabbits with abilities #346

a yellow bag for the bridger to keep sections in
orange high vis vest for a digger (or possibly an orange hard hat with the ears poking through)
hat or vest for basher
bit stuck for blocker. possibly blue boots. or blue flags.
maybe remove the light blue from the icon, so there is only the green brolly left.
red gloves and shoes for the climber.

perhaps change the blocker colour to red and give blockers a red stop sign. the climber would be blue. the general idea is to tie each ability icon to something of the same colour on the rabbit.

I love this idea. Do the climber and brollier keep their equipment while carrying out 'normal' activities? This might add a fair few extra frames?

How about blue gloves for the blocker. Or a blue hat similar to a policeman directing traffic?

I think the extra frames are not worth it. As long as you learn to associate the icon with the activity with the colours helping, that's the main thing.

blue hat would be good. But the head moves, so that's more work. I prefer a red octagon sign, and swap the climber colour.

Excellent idea. This is orthogonal to the idea of letting you see what abilities rabbits have when they are not doing them, which I think we do need to address in some way, possibly at the same time as showing there are several rabbits in the same Square.

Swapping colours to facilitate this is fine by me.

I meant to write in the OP: I was watching a 6 year play for the first time, and I had to keep reminding him that orange is for digging. I think this would be ingrained faster if the rabbit has something that colour matches the token, at least while they are using their special ability.

Yes definitely. This is why this is such a good idea.
