German Umlaute are not supported

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Searching with this app for a contact with a german umlaut
2. the name of the contact is not correctly displayed

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Correct name like : Müller
I see instead someting like M[some broken character]ller

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- Latest version of corporateaddressbook on Android 2.2

Thanks for the feedback Jens. I am working on this bug, and will hopefully have 
a fix for it soon. Will you be willing to test out a beta release, if I do find 
a fix?

I think I might have fixed the issue. Can you perhaps test the 1.1.4 beta 
release. You can download it from here

Please do give it a shot and let me know if it works or if it crashes and burns
