bluetooth not visible after install if was disabled in windows before #35

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.disable bluetooth from dell utilities in windows xp
2.install os x on dell mini 10v
3.

What netbook are you using this on?
dell mini 10v

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
bluetooth preference pane, bluetooth listed in system devices list. Instead 
nothing, empty, no 
device.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
bios 005, os x 10.5.8, os x 10.6, os x 10.6.1

Please provide any additional information below.

Know Bug. I probably wont fix this, It's due to windows telling the embedded 
controller to cut power to the usb 
port with bluetooth. When that happens, mac os x cannot see it.

I did start writing a driver that would let you enable / disable it, however I 
ran into a few problems. I may look 
inot it again, however it's a fairly low priority,

Although low priority, it plagues me as well. Have you found a way to fix this, 
lacking a copy of Windows and the 
Dell utility? BT is enabled in the BIOS on my mini9 (v.a05), and I've tried 
"fixing BT" via DellEFI, but cannot seem 
to make OSX see that the adapter even exists. Interested in any tips on 
correcting this!
