Do you think you could update the readme with a short description of how I would use this code?

It seems like there is a lot of overlap between the simulation logic, running of simulations, view of results, etc. It would be great to get an overview:

The simulations are in IPD_functions, burtsev_functions To run the simulations call function xxx from module yyy To see results run function zzz from module qqq

This would help people both use and contribute I think.

Great point, that really is needed. I had half an hour to throw some stuff together just now but should be able to polish it off a bit better this afternoon!
