I want to add some 3D objects in real life scenes. What format does the object use? Can it be transferred by Solidworks?

you can save it as obj.

were you able to add (unique) 3D objects into simulation for testing/evaluation?

Solidworks save as .obj file (take care of size), then put into /objects/blocks/
