Mecanim was added to the Technoshard since the Drone proved unfeasible with it's NavMesh and it's Kinematic movement as a result, so we got this working for the Demo and then removed it to further modify the Technoshard for later builds... It should probably be added back to the Technoshard Prefab as it is not hurting anything to have it there.
we ended up using the Technoshards special animation script, since it's better using script than mecanim, at the end of the day... and we might even drop that, since I might be giving Technoshards gravity for interaction in the future.
also the door doesn't exist.
If we can I'd like to apply Mecanim animation to open the #12 door. If the door is too difficult to get working with the Mecanim then we can apply it to the #9 Drone to make it float by modifying it's position transform over time.
