Description

During winter, I planed a bunch of crops, including parsnips and carrots. As expected, they didn't grow during winter. However, spring has already hit and it's been almost a month and a half of in-game time, and the crops still haven't grown. Nor have the nutrient levels gone down.

In contrast, I planted flax when spring had just set in, and those had already grown up till stage 6/9. But my parsnips and carrots haven't grown at all.

I will try and reproduce it when the next winter sets in, see if it still reoccurs.

Now I'm not sure if it's related to winter. Any crops I plant on these patches of soil don't grow beyond stage 1. Not sure what's causing it.

I resolved the problem by removing and replacing the affected farmland blocks. Within a couple of days, crops started growing again.

Another guess as to the cause of the problem might be because the blocks were exported and imported using WorldEdit. I know WorldEdit has some issues with animals and crops, whereby when you copy blocks and entities over to a new world, animals and crops don't reproduce or grow until years have passed. Might this be it?
