Spear incorrectly dropping on death #3091

Description

In worlds with keep inventory on death enabled it is still possible to lose a wielded spear on death if the player dies while attacking with it.

How to reproduce

Acquire spear, creative mode flight up 100 blocks, return to survival mode in midair and try to be attacking when you hit the ground.

I've noticed this. It's treated as if the spear is thrown, which results in it being able to do damage if it lands on something (e.g., a bear that killed you.)
