When placed upside-down & driven by a large gear, angled gears rotate the wrong way. This appears to be 'fixed' when an axle is connected, however, removing the axle causes the bug to return as demonstrated in a video posted to Discord here.
How to reproduce
Power a large gear
Connect a vertical axle to this large gear via an angled gear
Place an angled gear 'upside-down' on the underside of this connected vertical axle
The angled gear rotates in the opposite direction of the vertical axle
