Description

As the title already states the Shiver death animation doesn't check if the surrounding area consists of air blocks, which can lead to the shiver phasing through solid blocks.

This also applies in limited capacity (due to its temporary nature) to the Play-Dead animation.

Can also happen with Bowtorn.
