repeating Crash after power failure #464

The game has just said goodbye, but the fun does not stop :-) very nice game, best regards to Austria, in no hurry, I start a new one in time so that the hiking can continue ...

Game Version: v1.12.6 (stable) Platform: Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 / Systembuild 18362.657 PC Configuration AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, 64gb Ram, GTX 1080 Ti Modded: No

Description

after we had an fatal Errot in the Neighborhood with a following power failure the game crashed, while the power failure i was in Game running or walking (exploring) Menu works, Game loads fine, than in Game the Game repeats crashing

if i read right there is an issue on loading game:drifter-normal to the list of loaded entities as to read in the server-main

How to reproduce

Start the Game wait for ~35 sec

I guess only @Tyronx can tell whats wrong here. But I suspect that your savegame got corrupted. See a similar issue here #390 Since your crash log is different it maybe has another cause.

It would be nice if you could pack your broken savegame as zip or tar.gz and upload it to a filesharing provider of your choice (like wetransfer, google drive, onedrive ...etc).

Since 1.12.7 is released there should be an option to repair your savegame. If you edit your savegame (on the right side the little pencil), there is a button "Run in repair mode". Please check if it works. Thank you.

I guess this can be considered solved for now. #396 is for preventing those corruptions in the first place.
