What is 'align' function?
Align functions usually move objects in relation to each other, so you might align an objects pivot point to another, or centre them in x,y and/or z space together.
say you wanted to move an object to the exact centre of another object, that'd be aligning them. or if you wanted to move something to the left side or another object.
it's not something that's completely necessary, but works well with a mirror function to quickly do the other half of a symetrical model.
Currently if you reparent an object, it acts more like you are using an 'align' function by moving the child objects pivot to the pivot of the new parent. This should not be the default behaviour of the reparenting action.
Reparenting should leave the child in place.
The current behaviour could be added as an 'align' function which is useful in itself.
