I tested on Debian 12 and NO. After clicking on the close icon, it is completely closed.

I understand that it would be more convenient to be able to close Zen to the system tray, but unfortunately, this is not technically feasible at the moment. Wails, the framework that Zen is based on, doesn't support the functionality, although it is expected to be in the next major version, which is currently in alpha. I'll make sure to add this to the list of known issues.

It's incompatible with Wails to due to some weird linking issues.
