Error when used on some Linux disributions

Description

When I update all packages with Zen on, it says

 there is nothing to do

When I update all packages with Zen off, it says

Hi, thank you for the report. I'll look into replicating the issue. In the meantime, if your updates are still not working, you can try two things:

• Run gsettings get org.gnome.system.proxy mode. If it returns manual, then run gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy mode none.
• Check if any of these environment variables have a value: http_proxy, HTTP_PROXY, https_proxy, HTTPS_PROXY. If any of them do, unset them.
