Source of prebuilt APKs #40

Where are you getting prebuilt APKs for apps like ReVanced from? They don't officially provide them, mostly because Google stopped the Vanced project because of their prebuilt APKs. This feels a bit sketchy to me.

  1. APK Sources: Every user can access the APK providers' sources. Simply tap and hold on the provider name in the provider table to view this information.

  2. ReVanced Patched APKs: The providers for these are mainly contributions from active users. I've collected these over time and carefully investigated them to determine which ones I trust the most.

  3. Update Me App's Role: It's important to note that Update Me is not the builder or patcher of these APKs. Our app functions as a collection of links that are scraped daily to provide the most recent mods.

  4. Motivation: As a modded APK user myself, I created this app to simplify the process of finding newer versions of modded apps like YouTube, Spotify, etc. It's a tool designed to make this process easier for anyone who wants to use it.

  5. Transparency: I want to assure you that this is a non-profit project. I do not get paid for this service. Furthermore, the code for Update Me, including the scraping script, is open-source and available for everyone to review and suggest improvements.
