note that 4.0 and earlier didn't give macOS Default grey colours yet.

  • Button styles that are unknown from 7 onwards are the same as their Windows counterparts, it would seem
  • Instead of blue, new tab page accents are grey
  • Inactive tab is basically the same opaque shade as active, just different gradient
  • Fill rim might indeed be pure white...?
  • Fullscreen has ALWAYS been the same shade of flat grey since day one

@AwesomeBruni🐧 technically the OG omnibox was shown in https://youtu.be/P3AsjP-UzMA

as well as tab hover you can also see ANOTHER custom close hover 💀 and iirc, this Beta's 3.x nevermind, it's 4.x - https://youtu.be/WLyzzywUqUQ?t=49 (edited) TAB CLOSE PRESSED STATE CAN BE SEEN ON https://youtu.be/uwEupAQReCs (edited)

as well as a confirmation that the OG Chrome animations we saw also applied here. All New Tab Button states in Beta: https://youtu.be/FNAg1v3Hwpg

also unreads in extension badge
