mysql.h not Found #1

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Downloading the source from svn and building server/project_server

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A successful build - I saw dbHandler.h complaining about mysql.h not found.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 2. Win XP.

I need to know where mysql.h comes from. It is the C++ MySQL wrapper?

Solution is to install MySql (with Developer tools) and point to the include
directories to where MySQL was installed. eg c:\program files\mysql\include

The project is definitely dependant on mysql, but I'm not sure it will build
against
the latest version. Did you have some success? This would make a good wiki
page.

Check out this file in the /doc directory:

http://pokerspot.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/docs/pokerspot_schema.txt

If you run it through mysql client, it should create the necessary tables for
you.
Populating them with the necessary data is another issue altogether though.

Unfortunately this software isn't very well documented. Email me directly at
tc.clueless@gmail.com if you would like to talk about a support contract.
