Maps will not display any location (not more than one)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Login to google maps and search for location
2.Click chrome to phone extension button

What is the expected output? 
Google maps will open on phone and display location

What do you see instead?
Google maps opens and shows my current location

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using latest version of android app and chrome ext as of posting.
Windows 7 professional 64bit

Please provide any additional information below.

Just noticed that issue 32 is now having the same problem so issues could be

I have the same thing happening. Just opens to my current location and not the 
address I was looking at in Google Maps on PC.

To resolve this try the following....
do your search, or directions, then click the "link" button.  copy and paste 
the link to the top address bar and hit enter.  The page will refresh, and now 
you can send it to the phone with the correct info
