Chrome: 6.0.408.1 and AVD / Android Emulator 2.2

Downloaded the Chrome plugin, signed in and giving me...
ERROR (User unknown)

On the device itself it is not showing any "Desktop Accounts" and when
clicking on Register Device, it just shows "Registering device..." for ever.

Does this work on an emulator?

It does work in the emulator. However you first need to log into a Gmail
account under
(from home screen) Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync. Then add a Gmail account.
After that you will be able to select a desktop account from the dropdown in
chrometophone.

I know the above is not really to do with chrome to phone but I'd love to try
this
thing out!...

Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync on the emulator only shows a screen where you
can
configure an Exchange account. When you click Add account the title text is
"You can
configure an Exchange account in just a few steps".

Is this the case with other people's emulators? See images attached.
