Mode of transportation not being sent from computer to device

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On your phone, get directions somewhere using a non-car mode of 
transportation.  Choose bicycling!
2. Get directions on your computer using a different mode of 
transportation.  Choose car!
3. Send these directions to your phone.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the mode of transportation carry over from computer to 
phone.  Instead, whatever mode was LAST used is chosen for the new mode.  
I.e. in this example, I wanted car directions to be sent, but bicycle 
directions popped up.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chrome to Phone ver 1.0 on FroYo FRF50
