to expand, right clicking on selected text could be sent to phone also. the ap
on phone
could intelligently decide what to do with it. http goes to browser, phone
number
number formatting triggers the dialer, perhaps there could be a context menu on
desktop
to "force" selected text to certain apps.
eg. Select an address and you could use the context menu to either send to
google maps
on phone or add/create a new contact

already
support the context menu for links, images and selected text. What happens when
they
are send to the phone is up to the Android App.

this was previously suggested, however Chrome does not currently have an API to
support accessing the context menu with an extension.
Send To Phone for Firefox does do this.
