I should add... my phone is showing that the device is registered.

I'm getting the same thing. Using the version of the APK and Extension that was
uploaded at about 6:15PM on 5/22/10.
Also the "report" link in that error doesn't seem to do anything. If it does,
there's
no feedback.
My phone is also registered in the application.

I think I experienced the same issue when trying to send a url from the
my.opera.com
domain. But it worked fine for other domains at the same time.
This is the URL that keeps failing (ironically enough as it's about
Chrometophone).

Same exact issue here.

Yeah, same here - I didn't even know I was supposed to be prompted for a
confirmation
URL. I am not asked to confirm anything, and I get the same error message as
the
original poster.

I've tried this URL with a Google App account and a Gmail (both registred on
phone) and each time the extension
says "ERROR (User unknown)".
What type of account are you using? Have you registred the phone first?

Original comment by raph...@savina.net on 23 May 2010 at 7:40

After registering the device again the "ERROR (User unknown)" disappeared. Now
it's
working.

Still getting "ERROR (User unknown)" even after re-registering device and
retrying to
login with my google apps account

I think I may have introduced a bug yesterday in the appengine server that
caused some of the issues in this
thread. I've fixed and pushed a new server.

Incidentally, I just added a feature to copy text. Download the latest
extension and app from the download page
to try it out. If you've selected text in the Web page, it will automatically
be added to the Android clipboard (i.e.
long press a text box in Android after the link has received and you can paste
the text that was selected on
desktop).

I am experiencing the same problem as well. The URL also did the trick for me.
This feature's amazing!

I'm still experiencing this issue, unfortunately, on a fresh install of the
extension
on another computer.

Feature to copy text to Android clipboard. Great feature!! Now I'd like it to
work in a
way that only clipboard info was send if text was selected but I can live with
this :-
