Chrome stuck at "loading..." when installing extension. #85

Please answer the questions about build version and network, will save
developers a lot of time !

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Clicking the download link
2.Loading... appears in a smoke grey box
3.It does not ever finish nor work

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Just wanted the PC end of this to load, the Phone side installed and registered 
with no problem

What version of the android, in Settings -> About phone -> Build number (
ex. FRFxx ) ? If less than FRF50 - see the FAQ.
Version 2.2 build 2.2FRF57 basband C_01.43.01P  kernel 2.6.32.9

Is the phone using WiFi or mobile network when problem occurs ? If Wifi,
are you behind a firewall that blocks outgoing connections ?Phone side seems 
ok, but I did try it with the phone on wifi and on 3G

Can you open "Gmail" application ? Do you see new messages without hitting
'refresh' ? Gmail app on phone works fine as well as gmail app on desktop.  
Phone is set to automatically sync and background data is on. 

Can you open "Talk" application ? Do you see incoming chats ?
yes, talk works. 

Please provide any additional information below.
I am fairly sure problem is somewhere on PC end, since loading... hangs there.  
Could not find any settings to change anything to make it work (at least 
nothing obvious)  I do understand PC's and would consider myself more than a 
novice.  My phone has root access, is a moto A855, all market apps work fine 
(i.e. radio time and other protected apps) Froyo build is FRF57 not just a rom. 
 any help is greatly appreciated.

I figured it out-  6.0473.3 beta now- had to push it on, standard updating
didn't do the trick.  Its working now-  only hard part now is we have one
gmail account for me and my wife but two android phones, so far she has not
wanted to use the chrome to phone option.  so its been ok.  Were running
froyo 2.2  frb84 on hers and o1b on mine.  Both custom roms.  mine works
well now.
