While the cell diversity and cell distance computations are relatively quick, when processing an entire cohort it can take a couple hours and only users only have the subtle jupyter notebook indicators to know if it's still running.

It would be nice to track these computations with a progress bar. Possibly for neighborhood matrix generation as well.
