you should translate the document in #7 to chinese. Note that this will already proabably need extensisons to sTeX; we have never done chinese before and we have (mostly) failed with cyrillic so far.

So you will need to research how to write chinese LaTeX, and we can then (together) extend sTeX to handle chinese. Then I would like to have a set of ca 10 documents in chinese, so that we can show them off in the glossary at https://mathhub.info/mh/glossary and the math dictionary at https://mathhub.info/mh/dictionary

I would be interested in chinese translations of all the modules that also have a romanian translation (about 10; all .../MathHub/smlgom/sets/source/*.ro.tex).

@kohlhase I've created a Chinese version of "reflexive". you could check it under SMGloM/Jinbo/sets. By the way, cns stands for "Chinese Simplified", whereas cnt stands for "Chinese Traditional".

If you think it's all right, I will try to write a new definition about multiset, which isn't covered in sets.

I just uploaded a new set of modules. I saw on obvious problem when using lmh. Shall I move on to writing the '\symdef' based on the issues that have been assigned to me?

do they work with LaTeXML? Do they work with PDF? Where can I find them? I guess your private fork? We should meet to discuss a suitable merge request.

The next error in sTeX should be #39 in sTeX. And then #41 (but we need to discuss this first).

They work with LaTeXML and PDF. I couldn't get the Chinese characters show up still through PDF, so I didn't include them. @kohlhase You can have a look at the private fork, to which I just gave you the access.

I just installed your private fork, but I can see no .cnt.tex or .cns.tex What am I doing wrong?

The modules *.cns.tex will be formatted with ../lib/pre.cns.tex, which currently does not exist (but there are other languages e.g. ../lib/pre.tr.tex for turkish. This file should contain all LaTeX preamble stuff to make the chinese LaTeX work.

Because I the Chinese versions didn't seem to work, and thus I didn't push them. I will have a look to see at how the Chinese versions can be formatted and push them later tonight.

I've already written the pre.zhs.tex and pre.zht.tex, and pushed them to my own fork. I successfully tested all multiset files with omdoc, 3 warnings & 3 errors, I will look more deeply into them later, but it's already seems good. pdf is a little hard to deal with, since \usepackage{ctex}will be a problem, and also lmh currently is using pdfLaTeX, I have no idea how to make Chinese character with pdfLaTeX

PS: I checked the ISO 639 mentioned in blue notes, zh stands for Chinese, neither cn nor xh, a typo in blue notes

We probably want to say that we allow ISO three letter (instead of just two-letter) language specifiers in SMGloM and MathHub.

The OMDoc generation all works for me, so @La-Stravaganza please make a pull request for the sets fork, so that we can add your work. And then @angerhang when I have integrated that upate, and rename your files, see whether they also work and make a pull request of your own.

I had only one warning when I ran over omdoc, which is exactly the same as #39 in sTex. We probably need to resolve that issue as well. For the tex approach, I tried to use xeLaTex but I don't know why my lmh keeps crashing, still trying to figure out as it crashes even when I tried to generate an already existing module.

I have integrated the update into my private fork, but I can't make a pull request of my own. I probably need your help in making that pull request.

I find a new way to support Chinese Character and it seems perfectly ok using xelatex. The best thing is we can forget about ctex and significantly save our time, since fontspec is already translated into latexml binding.

I made an issue for Tom https://github.com/KWARC/localmh/issues/210, so far lmh doesn't support it very well.
